Our writer Tomi "lurppis" Kovanen will host another Areena gather tournament on August 10th, this time in CS:GO and sponsored by SteelSeries and Jimm's PC Store with prizes worth over 3,200€. Areena #3 CS:GO will take place on August 10th starting at 09:00 at Pelitalo in Helsinki, same setting as the two previous events in Counter-Strike 1.6 in late 2012 with a price of 20€ per participant. The third event will feature product prizes worth up to 1,550€ from SteelSeries and an estimated 750€ from Jimm's PC Store. All the sign up fees of 800€ will also be given back as prizes, with ESEA Premium codes to top it all off.
A total of fourty players will be able to enter the event, with the best eight chosen as captains to pick the teams they will compete with, ensuring everyone has a chance to win. Eight teams will be divided into two groups of four, with no one being eliminated in the group stage. Playoffs will feature an eight team double elimination bracket to crown the champions.
